* വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ പേരിനു മുൻപിൽ 'by’ ചേർക്കണം. നടന്നുപോകുന്നതിന്'on' ചേർക്കണം eg-l. Let's go..................bus (by)  eg

* ചലനസൂചകമായ ക്രിയകൾക്കുശേഷം'into' ചേർക്കണം .  eg. The dog fell into the pond 
* സമയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുമ്പോൾ ക്ലിപ്ത സമയം, തീയതി, ദിവസം മാസം വർഷം, മുതലായവയ്കു മുൻപാണ് Since ചേർക്കുന്നത്.  eg. He hans't been well since Monday (in perfect tense 'since' is used to denote time showing the beginning of an action. "For” is used to show the duration of time.
*  off -അൽപം മാറി അകലെ എന്ന അർഥത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. eg. He fell off the ladder.
*   Smaller towns, villages,എന്നിവക്ക് മുൻപിൽ ‘at' ഉം  continents, countries, capital cities large towns എന്നിവയ്ക്കു മുൻപിൽ 'in'ഉം ഉപയോഗിക്കണം  eg

* ഒരു ഉപകരണത്തിന്റെ കൂടെയോ ഒരു ബന്ധ ത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കാനോ with  ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.  eg.
